“ITAP”
“ITAP”
is a subset of the larger IT-Assurance
Managed Service Program. In short, we install a
SMART agent on each desktop, the agent connects to a
Patch Management Gateway Server (provided free of
charge if needed) to provide complete patch and
monitoring services. The Gateway Server pushes only
approved “Whitelisted” patches out to the
desktops and servers. The agents then report back to our data
network operations center servers with the status of the
upgrade. This upgrade occurs only during the timeframe
that you specify.
You will
get an accurate inventory without the headache of
spending thousands of dollars setting the services up
and managing their operations. We will handle the
entire process without costing you any additional
dollars for hardware or software! We can even offer
complete anti-virus management solution utilizing AVG anti-virus packages for a small
monthly fee.
All this
information is available at your fingertip for real-time
review. Our web interface provides this information in a
secure manner. The Workstation portal allows you to
generate reports on the status of your workstations.
For
example, assume you are planning the upgrade to MS
Office 2003. You need to know how many computers are
running Windows 2000 and how many are at Windows XP
level. Also you will need to know how many are currently
running Office 2000 or Office 2003. In less than a
minute you will know your exact count and how many
licenses you need. Thus you will be saving the cost of
buying too many or too few licenses.
Mobile
and Remote/Home Coverage
Want to
provide complete coverage to your mobile and home users?
Our ”ITAP” agents will also work in these
environments. Once we install our tools on these devices
you will receive the same detailed reports that you rely
on for your office computers.
Many
hardware failures can be detected and PROACTIVELY
responded to before the actual failure. This
information can then be used to prevent failures by
sending replacement parts out and having them installed
remotely.
International Coverage
Many
companies have issues surrounding domestic desktop and
server monitoring. Once international coverage is thrown
into the mix, there is a tremendous issue in maintaining
the level of control required to adequately manage those
resources. Our agent is fully capable of spanning
international boundaries and providing that level of
service. As long as a network device is attached to the
internet we can manage it. With our agent there are no
export restrictions.
You will
now have ability to inventory and centralize management
of your assets whether they are down the hall or across
the globe; all within one easy system. We will maintain
and report on all of these components regardless of
their physical location.

You can
drill down into the reporting tool for a plethora of
reports. Choose from dozens of standard reports on both
a summary and detailed level.
We can
also monitor the status of your backups and initiate a
trouble ticket in the event a backup service is not
working correctly.

On a
monthly basis we will review with you your Monthly Activity Reports
which contain detailed information about the status of
your environment. You can then use this information as a
tool from which business decisions can be formulated.
The key to reducing operational costs is to monitor and
maintain your environment on a periodic basis.
Much like
maintaining an auto, regular preventive maintenance will
avoid catastrophic and expensive failures in the
future.
